Parish Council

St. Jude Parish Council represents the Parish at large, acting on goal design and implementation of Parish pastoral needs. The Council also serves as a clearing house and forum for various Parish programs. These programs include Worship, Service, Education, and Building & Grounds. Interested parishioners are most welcome!

Finance Council

The Finance Council supports the Parish in several ways. They provide budget guidance to the various Parish Departments for the development of their individual operating budgets. The Council then has the responsibility of integrating these into a unified Parish budget.

On a monthly basis, the Finance Council monitors the operating performance of the departments individually, as well as the Parish as a whole. The Council also investigates cost saving ideas and other financial issues and reports directly to the Parish Council. The Finance Council also provides parishioners with annual "State of the Parish" updates regarding the financial condition of our Parish.

Faith Formation Board

The purpose of the Faith Formation Program is to lead our children to be faith-filled participants in our Parish community. The major aim of the board is directed at promoting a strong commitment from those who are leading our children -- parents and our volunteer catechists.

In addition to the classes held throughout the regular school year, this ministry also offers a summer Vacation Bible School program.

The Board is currently comprised of eight members in addition to our Pastor and Director and meets monthly. Volunteers are always needed as catechists, aides, office help and hall monitors.

St. Jude Athletic Board

The athletic program of St. Jude Parish School was established to provide a balance in our students total educational experience. Athletics can provide life experiences that range from social interaction skills to moral character development. The program is intended to instill in its participants the values of good sportsmanship, honesty, self-discipline, self-esteem, school spirit, and above all the exercise of Christian values in competitive life situations. In addition, the program will encourage the further development of physical fitness which is necessary to maintain a healthy life.
