Parish Mission Statement

We, the Faith Community of St. Jude in New Lenox, encounter Christ through the Augustinian principles of
truth, unity, and charity.
Through lifelong intergenerational faith formation and evangelization, we provide a way for all
to deepen their communion with Christ.

Saint Jude is a Catholic, Christian parish where people from many backgrounds have been called together by God to carry on the mission of Jesus Christ in today's world.

In our Christ-centered community, people of all ages have an opportunity to enrich their faith life through worship, prayer, and intergenerational faith formation for all ages.

Saint Jude is also a parish where the Christian faithful can live out their Baptism commitment by putting their faith into action through participation in numerous Christian Service projects that provide the downtrodden with hope for a better life.

Many parishioners have joined our parish leadership to help carry out the parish mission.  Our parish community also provides many social activities that provide for a bit of fun while we accompany each other on our faith journey.

Come join us and experience the love of Christ!
