Welcome to St. Jude’s website.  St. Jude’s is a Roman Catholic parish in the Joliet Diocese which is administered by Augustinian priests.  We serve the Catholic faith community in New Lenox.

Have you ever seen a perpetual motion device or machine?  Some will say that they do not exist.  Well, I have news for them, because they have never seen St. Jude’s Parish at work.  There is always something happening.  We are a vibrant parish with a variety of ministries and groups from education to mission trips, from preschool to senior adults.  We form a faith community which helps us to praise God, grow in faith, and help us reach out to the needy.  Hopefully, our website can give you a clearer picture of our ministries.

We have a modern church building constructed in 2003.  It serves our faith community very well for lively weekend liturgies, prayer services, Eucharistic exposition and benediction.  Our liturgies and prayer services are supported by one of our talented choirs.  Throughout the week our church is open for private prayer.

Besides having an excellent catholic grammar school which prepares our students for high school; we are involved with a ‘Whole Parish Faith Formation Program.’  Our faith formation program is a lifelong intergenerational formation and evangelization program which will touch the lives of our preschoolers to adults.

With the help of our website, we are using current technology to bring issues concerning our faith to our parishioners.  We live busy lives, and hopefully, our website will put you in touch with links that would support and nourish your faith in a timely manner.

It is my deepest hope that the faith community at St. Jude’s can help change the hearts and minds of people so that they can really become church rather than just go to church.

                                                                                                         In Christ,
